DynaCleft® Positioning Strips are designed to support the pre-surgical positioning of a bilateral cleft lip. For parents, we offer a discounted New Baby DynaCleft Pre-Surgical Kit, providing an estimated 10 to 12 weeks of support before cleft surgery. For healthcare providers, DynaCleft 2-Week Starter Kits are also available to help families begin using the DynaCleft system.

The DynaCleft Bilateral Positioning Strip features a gentle adhesive at each end to securely grip the skin, while the elastic silicone centre applies light, responsive tension to help bring the cleft lip segments together as the baby moves naturally. The adhesive is soft enough to allow repositioning without irritating delicate skin and can be easily removed and replaced each day. The silicone tension helps guide the repositioning of the lip and surrounding tissues, supporting improved cosmetic and functional surgical outcomes. DynaCleft Positioning Strips may be used alone, alongside the DynaCleft® Nasal Elevator, or with an intra-oral appliance such as a NAM device.

Each pack contains 7 strips for daily use over one week. The strips are typically changed every day for the first 6 to 8 weeks, then every 1 to 2 days until cleft repair surgery.

The New Baby Kit includes eight weekly packs of DynaCleft Positioning Strips, offering a convenient and discounted 10 to 12 week pre-surgical supply. Families who purchase the kit can also order additional packs at the same discounted price with free shipping. Unopened packs remaining at the end of treatment may be returned in their sealed cardboard packaging for a full prorated refund per DynaCleft pack*, or donated to cleft surgery mission programmes.

DynaCleft Positioning Strips are also available in a unilateral configuration for patients with a unilateral cleft lip.
