These foam bite pads are designed for use with the STANDARD OraStretch® Press Jaw Motion Rehab System. Each pack contains 4 adhesive-backed pads that attach directly to the mouthpieces of the OraStretch Press device. The pads gently mould to the user’s teeth, helping to create a more comfortable and semi-custom fit during therapy.

Standard bite pads are 1/8″ thick and are available in both standard and paediatric sizes. For patients with dentures or significant tooth loss, thicker and softer edentulous bite pad packs are also available for the standard-sized system.

The bite pads generally do not need replacing unless they become torn or begin to detach from the mouthpiece. To keep the pads and mouthpieces clean, simply rinse them after use and allow them to dry thoroughly. Only the mouthpieces should be cleaned. Do not immerse the entire device in water. If debris builds up on the pads, they can be gently cleaned using a toothbrush with a small amount of toothpaste, followed by rinsing. For additional freshness, the mouthpieces and pads may also be dipped briefly in mouthwash and left to air dry.

A small number of users may experience a bite motion that differs from the natural rotation of the OraStretch Press device. In some cases, this can cause the teeth to pull the bite pads away from the mouthpiece during use. If this happens consistently, please contact us to discuss alternative options that may help improve the comfort and effectiveness of your therapy.
